Lillian Brannum

Lillian F. Brannum, 95, of North Little Rock, passed away January 11, 2016. She was born December 7, 1920 in Clearwater, Nebraska to Carl J. and Rose Funk Thiele. She moved to Arkansas in 1966 from Nebraska and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Lillian was a Registered Nurse since 1942 until she retired from Fort Roots Veterans Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Virginia Tarvin, Connie Burke (Terry), Michael Cass (Carol), Patrick Cass (Linda), Mahlon Cass, Mary Winnett (Darrell), Julie McMoran and Marty Cass; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Fiser and Adelaide Hamm; brother, Vincent Thiele; and numerous extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Mahlon Cass and Thomas Brannum; her parents; son, Richard Cass; three brothers; and four sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 15 at Saint Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. Online guestbook at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
