Lillie Francis (Lillian) Short, 94, of North Little Rock, AR passed away on Monday, July 9, 2007. She was born in Hickory Plains, AR to the late Luther and Minnie White on September 10, 1912. Lillie was a life long member of North Little Rock First Assembly of God where she was an active church member until her health declined.
She loved her family, gardening, sewing and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Farris Short, Sr., oldest son, Farris, brother, John W. White all of North Little Rock and sister, Janice Faulkner of Little Rock. Surviving family members are John W. Short and Frederic A. Short, Sr. (Pat) both of North Little Rock, Rebekah Gilbert (Chuck) of Conway, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to North Little Rock First Assembly of God, 4501 Burrow Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. and the funeral will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M., at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, NLR with burial at Edgewood Memorial Park. Online obituary and guest register at www.northlittlerockfuneralhome.com.
