Linda L. Barnhart

Linda Lou (Earnhart) Barnhart, 75, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, September 26, 2022. She was born June 14, 1947, in Little Rock, Arkansas; she was the daughter of Dwight and Irma Jean Earnhart.

Linda was a loving mom, grandma, aunt, and sister and a cherished friend to many. She worked as a deli clerk at Kroger for 30 years. She loved people, serving her customers and forming lasting friendships, while advocating for others by serving as Union representative for 25 years.

After retiring from Kroger, she worked at Central Baptist Church Mother’s Day Out as a teacher for 6 years. Linda enjoyed exercise class with her retired Kroger friends at NLR Athletic Club, playing cards and dominos, spending time with her family and her dog, Bradley. She was a devoted member of Faith Baptist Church.

Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-one years, TJ Barnhart; son, Troy “PeeWee” Barnhart; and her parents, Dwight and Irma Jean Earnhart.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-love, Donnie and Jabetta Barnhart of North Little Rock; three grandchildren, Taylor, Tanner, and Tara Barnhart; sisters, Becky Scott (Thomas), and Debbie Alexander (John), brother, Bubbie Earnhart (Peggy) of North Little Rock; many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and family, as well as a host of loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to your favorite charity or church.

Visitation will be from 10:00AM -11:00AM, Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107) with a memorial service following at 11:00AM.
