Linda Gail Wilson Thompson

Linda Gail Wilson Thompson, 68, of Dallas, TX, went to be with her Lord and savior on December 25th, 2025. Linda was born on July 12th, 1957 in Malvern, AR, the daughter of Louie and Estelle Wilson of Caney, AR.

Linda lived her life with a steady, radiant positivity that those around her felt. She was deeply devoted to her family and loved them wholeheartedly, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She carried a sincere passion for helping others, reflected in her more than 30-year career with the Arkansas Department of Public Health. Even into her 60s, Linda was highly energetic and could outwalk people half her age. Linda lived and loved life to the fullest.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Estelle Wilson of Caney, Arkansas. She is survived by her son, Jordan Price Thompson; his wife, Elizabeth Thompson; her beloved grandchildren, Lola and Percy Thompson, all of Dallas, Texas; her brother, Stephen Wilson of Caney, Arkansas; her niece, Holly Wilson Hughes of Caney, Arkansas; and countless cherished family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 3, at 9:00 a.m. at Caney Missionary Baptist Church in Bismarck, Arkansas, followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Bro. Ralph Ruffin. Burial will follow at Burnett Cemetery.
