It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Linda Hayes-Stone, who passed away on July 28, 2026 at the young age of 81.
Born on October 20, 1944 in England, Arkansas, Linda lived a life defined by love, strength, and devotion to her family and friends. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her generous heart, wild spirit, and unwavering support.
She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Friend, who found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved. Whether she was working alongside her best friend, Debbie Mohnkern at Debbie's Moving Sales, dancing with all of her friends, or spending time with family, she approached every part of her life with both compassion for others and the drive to live her life her way!
She is survived by her Children, Edward Hayes (Shelly); Chris Tweed (Craig); Kenneth Hayes (Armenda); Three Grandchildren Donald Morrison (Robin), Jonathan Hayes (Elizabeth), and Jennifer Wiley (Steve); Four Great Grandchildren and her brother Bobby; who will forever cherish her love, guidance, and countless memories. She was preceded in death by her parents G.B. and Maude Combs, her first husband, Dr. Edward Wayne Hayes Sr., her 2nd husband, Randy Stone; a sister and two brothers. **
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day.
Visitation will take place on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Smith Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas at 5pm.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 10am at Smith Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas.
