Linda Faye Holcomb

Linda Faye Holcomb, age 79, of Pearcy, better known as “Mammie” or “Tuffy”, danced her way thru the pearly gates on Friday, June 17, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born on October 11, 1942, in Cedar Glades, the daughter of Robert Neal and Katie Graves Neal.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene Holcomb; and her stepson, Darrel Holcomb. 

Mammie was legendary.  She was the epitome of grace and beauty, fearless and one heck of a dancer.  She rode thru this life with the wind in her hair, the sun on her face and sand between her toes.  Tuffy, we know you’re dancing in heaven.  You will be greatly missed, so we raise a toast to the life you lived.  Cheers to the nights we’ll never remember with the friends we will never forget.  We love you.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Chris Rowland of Pearcy; five grandsons and spouses, Dylan Griffith and his wife, Whitney, Spencer Holcomb, Brandon Rowland and his wife, Julie, Cameron Rowland and Chance Rowland; seven great-grandchildren, Harper Griffith, Bailey Rowland, Riley Rowland, Emery Rowland, Hannah Rowland, Ellison Rowland and Karson Rowland; Mammie’s personal assistant, Rick “Jose” Lane; three sisters, Sharrion McClain, Sandra Capel and Calva Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, June 21, 2022, with Bro. Greg Cischke officiating in the Smith Family Funeral Home Hot Springs.

Interment will be in the New Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00PM-8:00PM, Monday evening.

Pallbearers are Jason Kirk, Jeremy Atkinson, Chance Rowland, Nathyn Smith, Robbie McClain, and Paul Limke.
