Linda Diana (Thomas) Johnston, 63, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2009. She was registrar and secretary for Sylvan Hills High School for 35 years and a member of Apostolic Church in North Little Rock.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, David Lee Johnston, Sr., of North Little Rock; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Jayme Johnston, of Rogers, David Lee Jr. and Tammy Johnston and Daniel Lee and Michelle Johnston, all of Sherwood; four sisters, Ada Mae Vann, of Sherwood, Evelyn Wofford, of Jonesboro, Judy Pugh, of Hernando, Mississippi and Modean Gertch, of North Little Rock; three grandchildren, David Lee Johnston, III, Blake Aaron Johnston and Spencer Lee Johnston, all of Sherwood; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by four brothers and her sister.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Cancer Research Center, UAMS, 4301 W. Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday at Apostolic Church. Entombment will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nrlfh.com.
