Linda Williams Paulovich, born March 31, 1954, in Memphis, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, known for her gentle spirit, steady compassion, and unwavering love for her family.
Linda dedicated her life to caring for others. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1977 from the University of Tennessee, and she then completed her Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health in 1980 from the University of New Mexico. This made her one of the earliest nurse practitioners in the state of Arkansas. She served as a Nurse Practitioner for the Arkansas Department of Health, where she provided exceptional care to her patients with knowledge, dignity, and deep respect. Her work reflected the very heart of who she was: thoughtful, giving, patient, and deeply committed to the well-being of others. The lives she touched throughout her career are immeasurable, and her influence will continue to be felt by those she served and worked alongside.
At home, Linda poured her heart into her family. She and her husband, Robert “Bob” Paulovich, enjoyed hosting friends and neighbors for summertime gatherings around their backyard pool. Linda also simply loved spending time there herself, soaking up the sunshine and relaxing by the water. She found joy in her garden as well, especially in tending to the roses she and Bob grew together. Their home was one of welcome, warmth, and lasting love.
Linda enjoyed traveling and shopping, always welcoming a chance to explore something new. She also had a special fondness for animals and cared deeply for her pets over the years. Those who knew her will remember her steady kindness and the quiet way she supported and encouraged the people she loved.
She leaves behind her son, Jon Paulovich, and his wife, Maleah; her brother, Rand Williams; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and her parents, Eulas “Bill” and Lurline Williams.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM, at First United Methodist Church of Bryant, 508 N. Reynolds Rd., Bryant, Arkansas. She will be laid to rest at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 7401 Hwy 5 N, Alexander, Arkansas, at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s name may be made to the Saline County Humane Society or to Legacy Keepers Nurse Honor Guard of Arkansas.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to The Manor Assisted Living and Hospice Home Care for their kindness, compassion, and exceptional support shown to Linda and her family during her time with them. Their care and presence brought comfort and peace when it was needed most.
Linda’s legacy lives on in the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the beauty she nurtured both around her and within the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
