Linda Sue Pierce

Linda Sue Pierce, aged 82, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away on December 30th, 2023 in her home in Springdale, Arkansas.

Linda Sue Pierce, born Linda Sue Ross, was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Kermit and Effie Mae Ross on December 1st, 1941. 

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Effie Mae Ross; and her eldest son Jeffery Lee Pierce.

Linda is survived by her husband Jim Pierce, her brother Rex Ross and wife Martha Ross of Conway, AR; and three adult children and their spouses Brad and Sonya Pierce of Florida, Brandon and Melissa Pierce of Oklahoma and Kendall and Denise Pierce of Northwest Arkansas.

She is also survived by four grandchildren and their spouses, Dr.’s Bryant and DiLanka Pierce of Ft. Smith, Jami and Dustin Downen of Fayetteville, Austin Pierce of Dallas, TX, and Sydney and Kyle Jones of Tontitown in addition to a large and loving extended family.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by the Funeral at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Smith Family Funeral Home in North Little Rock with Alan Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Memorial Park in Bryant, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Bradley Pierce, Brandon Pierce, Kendall Pierce, Bryant Pierce, Austin Pierce, and Dustin Downen. Honorary Pallbearers consist of those friends and family members that supported and loved Linda as demonstrated by actions, well wishes, and prayers.

The family of Linda Pierce wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to the team at Elite Hospice Care and the friends and family that rallied to make Linda’s final days a time of love and blessings.
