Linda Dean Price completed her journey on July 2, 2025. She was called to receive her heavenly home reward, the Lord sent His angels.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Cliff Price and sister, Bobby Jean Ponder (Billy Ponder) of Cabot, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her son, Lil’ Cliff; siblings, Jimmy Lou Cagle, Mattie Copeland and James Pinson.
Linda was adopted and raised by Lura and Clay Pinson. They had a large family and Linda had many brothers and sisters, she was close to them all- Virginia (Joe) Scarberry, Lela Davidson, Hazel (Billy) Kelley, Beverly (Eddie) McCall, Angel (Steve) Overstreet, Vernon Pinson; step-daughters, Paula Ann Kumar and Tracy Lynn Price; step-son, Michael Bland and a host of family and friends.
Linda wanted to get into the medical field so she went to school to learn to be a nurse. She worked at Baptist in Little Rock, Fort Roots in North Little Rock, as well as Columbus, Ohio and Atlanta, Georgia. Her nursing career was cut short due to her declining health, but she didn’t really mind because she got to be home with her fur babies.
Linda loved to go on vacation to Ohio Amish Country, she enjoyed shopping, eating, visiting with friends and staying in a log cabin. She also enjoyed visiting friends in Helen, Georgia where she got to shop and eat some more and enjoy the country. She also liked long drives and camping and fishing.
Holidays were Linda’s favorite. She especially enjoyed decorating for Halloween. At Thanksgiving, the whole family would come to enjoy a big dinner. At Christmas, she got to put out her big tree with lots of lights, her Disney Christmas village and play music. Linda loved to give and receive gifts.
As her health declined, a drive up Highway 7, stopping along the way to shop and a hamburger at Cliff’s Place would always make her feel better. There are many good times and many happy memories.
Linda loved watching Gunsmoke, Western’s and Alaskan sitcoms.
The family would like to thank Home Hospice for keeping her comfortable at home. “Home she was.” She is with our Heavenly Father in peace with her loved ones.
