Linda Lee Willis

October 21, 1938 – July 27, 2025

Linda Lee Willis, age 86 of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, July 27, 2025, under the loving care of her son and daughter-in- law.

Linda was born on October 21, 1938 in England, Arkansas.

Upon graduating from High School, Linda moved to Little Rock, Arkansas to attend cosmetology school. She worked as a beautician for about 10 years.

On September 11, 1965 Linda married Morris Ward Willis, and they lived in Little Rock for 32 years until Morris retired in 1993. After his retirement, they moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas to enjoy lake life on beautiful Lake Hamilton.

Linda and her husband Morris enjoyed his retirement by traveling in their motorhome, riding four-wheelers, and camping. Some of her fondest travels were spent in Arizona during the winter months riding through the desert and exploring the mountains of Colorado during the summer months. Linda loved collecting rocks from her travels and shopping!

After 58 years of marriage, Linda’s husband Morris passed away from a long battle with Alzheimer’s in March of 2024. From then on, Linda spent time enjoying her home on the lake and traveling with her son and daughter-in-law. Linda was lovingly referred to as “MiMi” by her grandsons and was so very proud of all their accomplishments. Linda was also an active and involved member at Center Fork Baptist Church in Hot Springs.

Linda is survived by her son Morris “David” Willis and daughter-in-law, Angel Willis of Hot Springs; her 3 grandsons Morris “Branson” Willis of Oklahoma City, OK; Carson Blade Willis of Fayetteville, AR; Austin Ray Lenaburg of Hurst, TX; two nieces Donna Leverson of TX, and Janie Dawson of New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Morris Ward Willis, both of her parents, Murphy and Altalene Davis, and both of her sisters, Wanda and Virginia.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the loving 4th floor Nurses & care team at CHI, Linda’s Hospice Home Care team, Center Fork Baptist Church, New Life Church of Hot Springs, and a host of family and friends.
