Lloyd R. Marsh, 81, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Mabelvale, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a member of American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles #60 for 59 years and owner-operator of Marsh Hardware for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie ?Reece? Marsh, of North Little Rock; two daughters, Jan Marsh Taylor (Paul) and Laura Marsh Bowerman (Chuck), all of Sherwood; grandchildren, Justin Lloyd Baldwin (Cheryl), Kevin Marsh Crosland and Jessica Jade Baldwin; step grandchild, Kristen Bowerman; great grandchildren, Gage Miller Crosland and Jordan Cole Baldwin; step great grandchild, Hailey Copeland; two sisters, Anita Tunnell (Travis) of Little Rock and Barbara Spears (Russell) of Benton; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hughie and Esther Marsh and his brother, Venwall Marsh.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
