Lloyd Spickard, age 62 of Antoine died Monday, June 12, 2006 in Pike Co Hospital. He was born Oct 19, 1943 in Okolona the son of the late Guy and Martha West Spickard. He was a logger and a member of the Antoine Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Spickard, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include one son, Mark Spickard of Antoine; four sisters, Dena Funderburk of Antoine, Barbara Sue Smith of Dangerfield, TX, Agnes Hewitt of Arkadelphia and Ruth Holeman of Idabel, OK; one grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, June 15, 2006 in Antoine Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Bloomfield officiating. Interment will be in the Antoine Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Darwin Hendrix, Morgan Griffith, Mark Osburn, Sonny and Jeff Hill and Carl Muse.
