Loeta Knight Huffman, 83, of North Little Rock entered into eternal peace on August 12, 2017.
A celebration of Loeta's life will be held at Fellowship North Church on Thursday, August 17, 2017, beginning with visitation from 10:30 to 11:30 AM followed by the funeral at 11:30 AM. Interment will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Loeta was born April 16, 1934, in Bono, AR to the late Mildred Holland Knight and the late Virgil Knight. She met the love of her life, Willis Huffman, in 1955 and was married in 1956.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to many people. She enjoyed going on cruises, cooking and sharing meals, watching sports on TV, and sitting on her back deck with family and friends.
Loeta was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Wayne Knight, and an infant daughter, Tracy Huffman.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Willis Huffman; daughters and sons-in-law: Rhonda & Steve Bentley and Sharon & Kenny Bryant; 4 grandchildren: Angela Dunaway, Kevin Bentley, Jack Garrison and Eric Bentley; 1 great grandchild: Teri Grace Babson; sister, Euritha Brazil; and brother and sister-in-law Aubrey & Mary Knight.
Memorials in memory of Loeta may be made to the Sherwood Animal Shelter.
