Lois Fisher Hardy, 93 of Sherwood, AR formerly of Cabot, AR passed from this life on October 7, 2025. Lois, the youngest of six children, was born in Paint Rock, Texas, to Jim and Willie Belle Fisher. After her father’s death, the family moved to Cabot, AR. Lois graduated from Cabot High school in 1949 and from the Little Rock Vocational School at the top of her nursing class.

She practiced nursing for almost 50 years, working in the Intensive Care Unit, the Coronary Care Unit, Outpatient Surgery, and the Pain Center. Afterward, she worked part-time in the hospital’s community outreach program until retirement.

Family gatherings at her house were always special and Lois was well known for her chicken and dumplings and peach cobbler. Lois enjoyed special times she spent with her grandchildren and the trips she took with her family and friends.

Lois had a wonderful sense of humor and was the life of every gathering. She will be missed by those that knew and loved her, including her canine companion, Gracie.
