Lois (Jam) Shulenburg

Lois (Jam) Shulenburg, age 82, of Glenwood, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, December 2, 2017. She was born on December 23, 1934 in Wayne County, West Virginia, the daughter of Noah and Mae Damron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam (Poppy) Shulenburg; her daughter, Renee Rardon; and her siblings, Charles Damron, Gary Damron, Pat Perry and Margie Staley. Lois is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Dena Wright of Glenwood Arkansas; and her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Russell Winfree of Richmond Virginia. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Molly and Garmie Perry of DeLand, Florida; brother Keith Damron of Hawthorne Florida; her grandchildren, Kimberly Winfree, Brandi Rardon, Stephanie Wright, Ryan Winfree and Tim Rardon; her great-grandchildren, Taylor Duke, Shyann Clemons, Case Clemons, Brodix and Kane Negrych; and a host of nieces and nephews, and she was truly loved by all. Her family remembers her as a happy, care-free woman who loved life and her family. She loved music (especially gospel music and Elvis). Lois was very outgoing and loved being around people. The family will have a private memorial service at a future date to celebrate the life and love of Lois. The family is thankful for the dedication and care of the hospice staff and the Glenwood Nursing Home for their care and kind hands in Loiss care.
