Lois Buck Kirksey age 88 of the Fendley Community near Alpine died Saturday, August 11, 2012. She was born in Clark County July 30, 1924 the daughter of Monroe and Katie Childress Buck. She was of the Methodist Faith and attended the Oak Grove Community Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands Wilson Hardage and Jacie Kirksey, a son Gary Hardage, a step-daughter, Doyes Blair and two grandchildren, Tony Hardage and Stacie Kirksey, six brothers, Grady, Homer, Glen, Arnold, Doyle, and Curtis Buck.
Survivors include two sons, Rickie Kirksey and his wife Brenda of Fendley, Chris Kirksey and his wife Sheri of Amity, one daughter, Melba Robinson and her husband Jimmie of Fendley, one brother, Elendle Buck and his wife Miriam of Arkadelphia, one sister, Hazel Buck of West Virginia, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Monday in the Oak Grove Community Church with Dr. Ron Buck officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Fendley. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM Sunday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
