Lois M. (Bailey) Harris

Lois M. (Bailey) Harris, born on December 27, 1936, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025. A dedicated labor worker in the printing industry, Lois is remembered fondly for her strong work ethic and commitment to her profession.

Lois was a woman of deep faith, adhering to the Baptist Christian faith throughout her life. Her spirituality was a cornerstone of her identity and guided her interactions with family and friends.

On March 27, 1972, she married Kenneth Harris, and together they created a loving family. Lois is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth Harris; her son, Robert Phillips; and her cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth Mallory (James) and Rebekah Mallory.

Lois is preceded in death by her father, mother, brothers, and two sisters, whose memories she carried in her heart.

Her legacy will be honored during visitation at the Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on September 4, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM.

During this difficult time, her family wishes to acknowledge the pallbearers who will carry her to her final resting place: Larry Bailey, Tommy Chaddick, Dewayne Neighbors, Tim Bailey, Jason Frost, and Jeremy Frost. Also, honorary pallbearers Hugh Johnson and Jack White are acknowledged for their friendship and support.

Lois will be remembered for her unwavering strength, compassion, and the love she shared with those around her. She leaves behind a loving family and a rich legacy defined by hard work and faith.
