Lois V. McPherson, 94, of Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 12, 2010. Mrs. McPherson was born in Thomas, South Dakota, October 11, 1915 to John and Millie Kingslien Gilbertson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Truett McPherson, two brother's, John and Harvey Gilbertson, and her parents. She has been a member of 1st Baptist Church for 64 years, and is retired from Rose Law Firm.
Mrs. McPherson is survived by two nieces, Margaret Fairchild Copeland, her husband John and their daughter Kara of Alexandria, Virginia, and Corrine Cooley of Culver City, California, a host of friends, and her Sunday School Class.
Graveside service will be Monday, February 15 at 10:00 A.M. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 A.M at 1ST Baptist Church Little Rock (Rodney Parham and Pleasant Valley Drive) officiated by Dr. John Wright, Rev. John M. Copeland and Dr. Jim Lagrone. Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. today (Sunday) at Little Rock Funeral Home 8801 Knoedl Court (NW corner of I-630 and Barrow Road), Little Rock, AR. 72205.
