Lola Kirk Hickman

Lola Ione Kirk Hickman was born December 10, 1931, to John and Lucy Askins. Lola passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings. She was married 42 years to Charles “Bill” Kirk until his death. She was later married to Jason Hickman until his death. 

She is preceded in death by her son Jackie Kirk, granddaughter Lindsey Kirk, and grandson Charles Kirk. 

She is survived by daughters Pat (Buddy) Durham and Janet Rogers and son Terry (Rhonda) Kirk. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and two siblings. 

She was Mom to four, Nanny to many, and friend to even more. She loved flowers, gardening of all kinds, feeding the birds, painting, and fishing. She liked going to the casino, but most of all she loved her family. 

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., Beebe, Arkansas.  Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Stoney Point Cemetery.
