Lola Edris Davis Purifoy, age 78, of Okolona died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in Arkadelphia. She was born January 7, 1933 in Okolona, the daughter of the late Rosmond and Floy Manning Davis. Edris was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church near Whelen Springs, worked at Levi's Straus and Ouachita Marine in Arkadelphia.
Her husband, Robert "Bob" Purifoy; a brother, Travis "Sonny" Davis and a sister, Maxine Davis Cox preceded her in death.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, December 2nd at Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
