Lola Sparks

Lola Sue Sparks, age 78, of Searcy, Arkansas, gained her angel wings September 11, 2021.  She was born on November 22, 1942 in Hickory Plains, AR to William and Lillian Bass.

Sue was a homemaker and devoted her life to her children, Doug Sparks, Tonya (Robert) West, and Billy Sparks; her brothers and sisters, Doyle (Bonnie) Bass, Lloyd Bass, Glenda (CJ) Bullock, and Sharon (James) Sumler, and her beloved dog, Shasta.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Harry Sparks.

Sue loved to work in her yard, garden and cook.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday evening, September 15th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Smith Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel, Beebe.  Services are Thursday, September 16th at 2:00 p.m. at the Smith Westbrook Chapel, with burial at Lakeside Cemetery in Des Arc.
