Lorella "Rella" Diane Sanders, 53, of Benton, Arkansas went to be with the Lord December 22, 2018. She was born August 20, 1965 in Longview, Texas to Timothy Mathis and the late Lorella Carol (Wills) Jones.
Rella loved the Lord with all her heart and was a devoted Christian. She cherished spending time with her children and her family. She always put others before herself. Rella worked at the Benton Boys and Girls Club as an art teacher, which fulfilled her desire to work with children. In her spare time, Rella liked scrapbooking, cooking, and reading. She was rarely seen without a book in her hand. Rella was an animal lover and she loved her chihuahuas.
Preceding Rella in death are her mother, Carol Jones; and brother, Butch Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of twenty-six years, William Glenn Sanders of Benton, Arkansas; son, Timothy Glen Sanders of Benton; daughter, Janelle Sanders of Benton; father, Timothy Mathis of Longview, Texas; sister, Stephany Alhajjaj and her husband Jeffrey of Benton; two brothers: Fred Jones of Benton and Matthew Jones and his wife Sherry of Little Rock; nieces and nephews: Jebry, Layla, Ramsey, Ally, and Jenna; and a host of family and friends who love Rella and will miss her always.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, January 4 at United Missionary Baptist Church, 3810 Salem Road, Benton, Arkansas 72019. Memorial service, officiated by Bro. Randy Ward, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 5 at United Missionary Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to Boys and Girls Club of Benton or to the William G. Sanders Benevolence Account set up at Regions Bank.
