Lorene Spurlock

Lorene Spurlock, 98, of McRae, Arkansas, was born November 11, 1914 at Covington, Tennessee to Walter and Thursie (Gibson) Cross, and she died Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Spurlock; daughter, Anna Buell of Warren, Ohio; her parents; and siblings Polly Adams, Paul Schance, Mae Gage, Viola Price and Esther Thiele.
Lorene is survived by her son, Jim Spurlock and wife Mary of Bull Shoals; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation will begin 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral to follow at 2:00, officiated by James Spurlock. Pallbearers are Keith Spurlock, Josh Spurlock, Ken Bell, John Dale Willis and Charles Adams. Burial will be in West Point Cemetery. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
