Lorene L. Wegner, 80, of Maumelle, passed away April 22, 2018. She was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Oliver and Mable Shoun who preceded her in death, along with her husband, U.E. "Pete" Wegner, son, James Wegner, and nine siblings. She was of the Lutheran faith.
She is survived by her children, Susan McClain (Gary), John Wegner (Jane), and Tamara Johnson (Martin); sisters, Rita Shoun and Nancy Humphries; brothers, F. D. Shoun and O. V. Shoun; grandchildren, Jonathan McClain (Tina), Elizabeth Wall (Mark), Hillary Lueck (Eric), Joshua McClain (Meghan), Rachel Hurst (Justin), Jennifer Wilson, James Berry, April Graham (Micah), Tyler Wegner and Jill Wegner; great-grandchildren, Noah McClain, Cierra McClain, Noah Gaffer, Caleb McClain, Abe Wall, Ethan Lueck, Stella Lueck, Madelyn McClain, Norah McClain, Byron Hurst, Lyla Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Makela Graham, Clara Graham and Regan Graham.
Services will be held on Friday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Pastor Beth Waldrup.
