Lou Ellen "Polly" Barger, 73, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017. She was born December 14, 1943 in Malvern, Arkansas to Samuel and Sally Beason Clark. She was a longtime member of Bethany Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sue Ellen Barger; brother, Bill Clark (Rose); nieces and nephews, James Clark, Ginger Wiley, Kelly Rice and Donna Pugh; and other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert "Bob" Eugene Barger; son, Samuel Franklin Barger and her brother, Robert Clark.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 18, 2017 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Funeral service with Rev. Allen Elkins officiating will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Bethany Baptist Church, 308 Eureka Garden Road, North Little Rock. Burial will follow in Fairplay Cemetery.
