Louis "Bud" Duelmer

Louis “Bud” Henry Duelmer was born July 16, 1940, in Shoal Creek, Arkansas. He died November 23, 2022 in Little Rock, Arkansas after a courageous battle with cancer.

Louis spent most of his life in Central Arkansas. He was a 1958 graduate from Little Rock Catholic High and a 1962 graduate from Arkansas State Teachers College (UCA).

Louis married Linda Dixon on October 5, 1968. They have two children: Jim Duelmer and wife Tracie; Michelle Gaunt and husband Tyler. They have four amazing grandchildren: Jayme Barrett Holland, Callie Marie Duelmer, Andrew Henry Duelmer and Avery Rose Gaunt.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents Anton and Marie Duelmer; two sisters Henrietta Cathell and Irene Wright; two brothers Gilbert Duelmer and Leon Duelmer. He is survived by four sisters Lou Davis, Vi Bogoslavsky, Helen Garr and Bobbie Faulk; and many nieces and nephews.

Louis was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock Arkansas.

Visitation will be at Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday, December 3, at 12:00 P.M., with a Memorial Mass to follow at 12:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to IC Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
