Louise Herrin Strother Gaston age 90 of Arkadelphia died Monday, July 23, 2012. She was born November 9, 1921 the daughter of Travis and Pearl Bagwell Herrin. She was a member of Third Street Baptist Church and was the widow of J. T. Gaston Jr.
Survivors include one son, Bernard (Barbara) Strother of Bismarck, one step-daughter, Carolyn Ann Daws (Duane) of Sparkman, two brothers, James Herrin (Pauline) of Bismarck and Leon Herrin (Maureen) of Arkadelphia, one sister, Jean Wooldridge of Hot Springs, four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Thursday, July 26th in Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia with Brother Kenneth Bray officiating. Burial will be in the Sparkman Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
