Louise Jordan

Louise C. Purcell Jordan, 87, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013. She was born April 9, 1926 in Little Rock to Thomas and Pearl Clemens. As a fifty-five year member of Levy Baptist Church, Louise sang in the choir and taught children's Sunday school and Vacation Bible School for many years. She was a Dental Assistant for over 25 years and retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital at Ft. Roots, where she spent most of her career.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Leland D. Jordan; parents; brother, Thomas S. Clemens and her sister, Elizabeth Shaeffer. She is survived by her daughters, Dutchie Wilson and her husband, Charles, of Jacksonville and Kathleen Blackman, of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Wayland, Jeff and Tim Wilson, and Brooks and Jennifer Rhoads.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday at Levy Baptist Church. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Saturday till service time at the church. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
