Louise Turner age 81 of Alpine died Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at her home. She was born November 18, 1925 in Alpine, the daughter of the late John F. and Mattie Runyan Turner. Ms. Turner was a lifelong resident of Alpine and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by seven sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include three sisters, Jean Thomason and Joy Francis both of Alpine; Ida Faye Robertson of Arkadelphia; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Alpine Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Johnny McAnally officiating. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Larry Thomason, Dale Richardson, Richie Richardson, Ted Tige, Jerry Thomason and Cloyce Runyan. Memorials may be made to Alpine Cemetery Building Fund % Jane O. Bean 308 W. Thompson Amity, AR. 71921.
