Loucile Irene Jenkins went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Loucile was born on June 15, 1928, in Glenwood, Arkansas to Francis (Peg) O'Neal and Muriel O'Neal.
Loucile married the love of her life on August 21, 1948. Loucile was preceded in death by her husband, Orby, of 56 years; her parents; one brother, Dean O'Neal; and one sister, Gayla James.
Loucile was a member of Dierks First Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, listening to bluegrass music, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Janice and her husband, John Hill, and Sharon and her husband, Ken Strasner, all of Dierks; her four grandchildren, Kristi (Steven) Tollett, Jason (Jen) Hill, Michael (Stephanie) Strasner, and Vince (Brianna) Strasner; her eleven great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Danny (Lura) O'Neal of Glenwood; and her many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church Dierks with Bro. Ben Derrick officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior at 1:00 PM.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Strasner, Brady Strasner, Trent Hill, Grant Strasner, Josh Tollett, and Jake Tollett.
The family would like to thank Dierks Health and Rehab along with Howard Memorial Hospital for the care Loucile received in the recent weeks.
