Lucille Mary Marchese Luyet, 80, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away October 30, 2017. She was born May 6, 1937 in Hammond, LA to the late Joseph and Frances Marchese. She attended Mount Saint Mary Academy and graduated in 1955. She then attended nursing school at Saint Vincent Infirmary and was a Registered Nurse with the Baptist Health system for 30 years in the newborn nursery.
Lucy loved dolls and was an avid collector. She had a passion for decorating eggs; one of which was selected to represent Arkansas on the White House Christmas tree in Washington DC. She also enjoyed crocheting, and made caps for each newborn baby in the nursery.
Lucy is survived by her husband of 58 years Herbert Franklin Luyet (Sonny), Children: Marilyn Hemann (Charles) of Andrews Tx, Jerrell Luyet of Little Rock, Victoria Linn (Stephen) of Fayetteville AR, Dana Musquiz (Joe) of Katy TX, Thomas Luyet (Deana) of Bigelow, AR, and Lisa Luyet of North Little Rock. Grandchildren: Derek Linn, Rachel Linn, Nicholas Hemann, Michael Hemann, Jennifer Hemann, Nathan Luyet, Trevor Luyet, Mitchell Luyet and Grace Musquiz. She has one sister, Margaret Duff, and two brothers, Vince and Joe Marchese.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Rosary and visitation will take place on Sunday November 5th at 2:00PM. Funeral service will be 10:00AM, Monday. Services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church.
