Lucille Purifoy age 92 of Little Rock, formerly of Gurdon died Friday, January 4, 2013. She was born October 21, 1920 the daughter of Fines and Erma Story Jester. She was a retired Inspector with Hollywood Vasserette and a member of the Curtis Assembly of God Church. She was the widow of Hayes W. Purifoy.
Survivors are two sons, Dewayne Purifoy of Friendship and Edsel Purifoy of Gurdon, one daughter, Rhonda Stephen of Little Rock, three brothers, Clarence Jester of Arkadelphia, Allmon Jester of Curtis and James Jester of Pearcy, two sisters, Geraldine Frances of Malvern and Freda Vanlandingham of Hot Springs, seven grandchildren, and several great and great great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, January 6th in the Harts Chapel Cemetery with Kevin Jester officiating. Visitation will be from 1 PM Sunday till service time at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
