Lydia Brown

Lydia Brown, age 90, of Conway, passed away January 2, 2018, at her home. She was born November 17, 1927, in Camden, Arkansas to the late Will and Bessie Lester. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William H. Brown, a son, Mike Couch, a sister, Josephine Brown, and a great-granddaughter, Emerson Sharping. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working puzzles, sewing, gardening, fishing and watching television. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Carroll (Vicki) Sharping, Carthel (Judy) Vestal, Tommy Vestal and Paul (Daphne) Vestal; 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one nephew, one great-niece and one great-nephew. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 10, at 1:00 p.m. and funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Bowery Baptist Church in Conway. Interment will follow at Oak Bowery Cemetery.
