Lynda Pryor Boguslawski, a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, cherished friend to many and faithful servant of God, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, at the age of 73.
Born on October 7, 1951, Lynda was a lifelong resident of North Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated from North Little Rock High School and attended the University of Central Arkansas before beginning a long and dedicated career in health care. She began her professional journey with Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield and later served for over three decades at Arkansas Otolaryngology where she held the title of both office manager and administrator of finance and reimbursement. Her warm presence, tireless work ethic, and compassionate nature left an indelible mark on colleagues and patients alike.
Lynda lived her life guided by faith, unwavering generosity, and love. A devout Catholic, she was active in her parish and devoted herself fully to God and her community, exemplifying Christ-like love through her selflessness. Her spiritual life was a quiet strength that anchored her family and inspired all who knew her.
Lynda had a gift for making others feel seen and cared for, always putting their needs before her own. Her Kindness, warmth and love of family gatherings was legendary. She was a gracious hostess and found joy in bringing people together whether she was planning celebrations, hosting bridal and baby showers, or simply sharing stories on the back porch with friends and family. Her generosity, quick wit, and radiant spirit made her a beloved figure in every circle she touched .
She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Philip Louis Boguslawski; her children, Shannon Boguslawski Holmes (Shawn) and David Paul Boguslawski (Katie); and her treasured grandchildren, Emma Grace (11), John David (6), and Zachary Pryor (6) . She also leaves behind her loving sisters, Delaine Pryor Martin and Gail Pryor Waddill. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, David Lawrence Pryor and Jett Hulsey Pryor.
Lynda's legacy is one of unwavering love, faith, and service. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock, followed by interment at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church & School, a community Lynda dearly loved and faithfully served.
