M. A. "Bill" Thomas age 92 of Benton, formerly of Arkadelphia, died Wednesday in Benton. He was born May 30, 1915 in Clark County the son of William and Grace Hart Thomas. He was retired from Reynolds Metals, a U. S. Navy Veteran of WWII, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Deaton Thomas.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Thomas of San Antonio, TX and Robert Deaton of Old Washington, AR, two daughters Kaye Graham of Benton and Anne Buck of Bullhead City, AZ, six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Friday in Harts Chapel United Methodist Church with Larry Thomas officiating burial in Harts Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 PM Thursday in Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Memorials may be made to Harts Chapel Cemetery Fund c/o Carroll Rogers, 3671 Copeland Ridge Rd., Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
