Mable Vivian Sanders Grimes, 88, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 of melanoma cancer. She was born May 21, 1919 in White County to the late Charlie Monroe Sanders and Mary Elizabeth Honsinger Sanders.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Duane Gathright of North Little Rock; granddaughter, Stephanie Johns and husband, Doug, of Sherwood; great grandson, Dylan Johns, of Sherwood; and her two babies, Silk and Blackie. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and Herbert Sanders and a sister, Lois Fisher.
The family would like to thank Baptist Hospice for the loving care given to their mother during her illness.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
