Mable Henson
Mable J. Henson, 99, of Little Rock, passed away April 21, 2018. She was born in Batesville, Arkansas to George N. Inman and Annie Collins Inman who preceded her in death along with her husband of 75 years, Royce Edward Henson and her only child, son Gary O'Brien Henson. She was a member of South Highland Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years.
She is survived by her sister, Hazel Robinette of North Little Rock, grandchildren, Julianna Henson, Jonathan Henson (Patti), Jay Henson, all of Hensley and David Henson of Texas; Kim, Tammy, Marion and Timmy; nine great-grandchildren, twenty-two great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 24 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Wednesday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m. at South Highland Baptist Church, officiated by Brother Don Cooper, followed by interment at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church at 10200 W. 36th St., Little Rock, AR 72204.
