Madonna grew up in Newark, Arkansas.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  Upon moving to Arizona, she worked for Greyhound Leasing and Financial Corp and in 1988, cofounded with two partners Concord Servicing Corp in Scottsdale, Arizona. Madonna retired from the financial industry on September 1, 1998.   While in Arizona, she ran and completed 53 marathons, which included all 50 states and Washington DC.  She was an Olympic torch-bearer in Scottsdale for the 2002 Winter Olympics held in Utah.  Madonna loved to hike and stay at the Grand Canyon.  She always finished the long hikes at least two hours ahead of everyone else.  She also enjoyed going on cruises.  Madonna was a Garland County master gardener and was on the advisory council at Garvan Woodlands Gardens.  In December 2014, she was confirmed as a director on the Saline Memorial Hospital Foundation.    Madonna was the light of her husband’s life, and he affectionately referred to her as his “Sunshine.”

Preceding Madonna in death are her parents, Ernest E. and Madora A. (Tharp) Henderson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 44 years, Robert Bron of Benton, Arkansas; son, Robert R. Bron of New Hampshire; sisters: Jana Robertson (Gus) of Batesville, Arkansas and Chrissie Clark of Newark, Arkansas; brothers:  Monty Henderson (Margot) of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Johnny Henderson (Darlene) of Crawford, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends who love Madonna and will miss her always.
