Listen to Obituary

Our precious Magnolia Rose Eckert, was born on July 10, 2025, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2025. Though she was with us for only a short time, Magnolia Rose brought a depth of love, joy, and light into our hearts that will stay with us forever.

Nicknamed “Lizard Lizard” for her adorable habit of sticking out her tongue, Magnolia Rose captured everyone’s heart. She was the happiest baby. She was always smiling and looking up. We find comfort knowing she was always looking up, because she knew she came from God and that’s where she was going.

She loved morning time watching her parents’ favorite 90s cartoons, naps on Momma, music from Daddy (especially Forrest Frank), her pacifier, and being read her books. Baths, however, were never her favorite! Magnolia Rose was the most perfect angel. A gentle soul whose fiery red hair, bright blue eyes, and huge personality lit up our hearts.

She is lovingly survived by her parents, Christian and Haley Eckert; her bubba, Skylar Ketcher; her meemaw, Kathy Ketcher; her Mimi and Pop Pop, Heather and Danny Eckert; her uncle, Payton Eckert; her aunt and uncle, Ande and Zachary Eckert; and a devoted circle of cousins who adored her.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Ruggles Wilcox Chapel with Bro. Vidal Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill in Sycamore. Magnolia’s parents request that everyone wear bright clothes to celebrate her beautiful life.

Though Magnolia Rose is now resting in God’s arms, her love, joy, and larger-than-life personality will forever remain in our hearts. She was a gift from God, our little flower, our Magnolia Rose, and we will carry her memory with us always.
