Marcelle Montgomery

Mrs. Marcelle Montgomery, daughter of the late Jim and Bessie Williams Hawkins was born on February 9th, 1927 in Perryville (Maumelle Valley), Arkansas. Marcelle and the late Alton Montgomery had a beautiful life together where they instilled Godly values and great faith in Jesus Christ to their family. She quietly departed this life Wednesday, January 18th, 2017 in the comforts of her own home, and surrounded by caring family.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her three daughters: Judy Montgomery Doherty (David), Janey Daniel (Leroy), and Reginna Moore (Larry); seven grandchildren: Jimmy Daniel, Sharon Bailey, Paul Thomas Bailey, Holly Hays, the late Jeanette Daniel, Jennifer Rankin, and Stephanie Black; eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four brothers: Cliff, Roland, Clay, and Jimmy Hawkins. Deceased siblings include: Vollie Clark, Allie Wise, Clarence Hawkins, and Virginia Bentley.
Her greatest accomplishment was her family, and her family greatly cherished her. Although her loss is difficult, we rejoice and are comforted in knowing that she is in heaven with her heavenly father.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 21st at Harmony Baptist Church in Perryville, Arkansas. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home.
