Marcos Saravia

Marcos Saravia, born July 10, 1940, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was a man of deep faith, embodying the principles of his Catholic belief throughout his life. Known for his respectful demeanor and genuine love for everyone he encountered, Marcos is remembered fondly as a truly good man whose presence brought warmth and kindness to all who knew him.

Marcos's life was marked by his unwavering character and the deep connections he fostered with family and friends. Those who were blessed to know him will dearly miss his gentle spirit and enduring compassion. His family finds comfort in the hope and prayer that he is now in a place of even greater happiness than he experienced here on earth.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Sonia Lopez, and her husband, Mina Ceron Alejo, who reside in Hot Springs. Marcos also cherished his grandchildren, Marcos Lopez, and Moises Lopez, both of Hot Springs. His extended family includes nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends who warmly recall his kindness and the strength of his character.

Marcos was preceded in death by his son, Jose Arnulfo Saravia Lopez, and his mother, Ana Julia Saravia. Their memories remain a lasting part of his legacy.

The community is invited to pay their respects at the visitation held on April 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home - Hot Springs, located at 2205 Airport Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913. The funeral service will follow on April 24, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the same location.
