Margaret Highland, age 85 of Cabot, went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2025. She was born on March 11, 1940, in Quincy, Mississippi to Homer and Georgia Ausborne.

Margaret retired from Mad Butcher as Assistant Manager. She was a member of the Austin Church of Christ. Margaret loved to quilt, read, cook and she loved her animals.

She is survived by daughters Karen Highland and Sharen (Marvin) Wisely both of North Little Rock; one grandson Jared Wisely; two brothers, J. R. Ausborne of Jacksonville, Florida and Rick Ausborne of Mississippi; and nieces Susie Smith and Jeannie Vick.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Joe Highland; sister Lanell Scholtz and brother Bill Ausborne.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 11th from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry, Beebe, followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. To view the online register, www.smithfamilycares.com/westbrook
