Our beloved "Nanny", Margaret J. (Daughenbaugh) Linsley, 94, born March 10, 1919, passed away peacefully in the home of her youngest daughter on March 30, 2013. She was a member of South Highland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl C. and Lillie Daughenbaugh. Also preceding her were six sisters: Lillie Jean Palmer, Kathryn Hubbs, Lois Hayman, Opal Hicks, Vivian Chapman, Gladys Walloch and two brothers: Dallas Daughenbaugh and Edgar Daughenbaugh. She is now reunited with her husband, our equally beloved "Paw-Paw" Elmer P. Linsley. Left to miss her are her children, son Elmer "Patrick" Linsley and wife Wanda; daughters: Janice (Linsley) Byers and husband Robert and Deena (Linsley) Stankevitz and husband Keith. She has two granddaughters, Tina (Linsley) Etheridge and husband Gene, Tonya (Linsley) Bewley and husband Wayne; four great-grandchildren, Natalie (Etheridge) Oglesby and husband Jonathan, Holly Etheridge, Ryan Bewley, and Austin Bewley; one great-great grandson and one on the way. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank two of them, Sharon Rogers and Vicki Hubbs. Your love and devotion in helping to care for mother was greatly appreciated. Visitation with the family will be Monday, April 1, 2013 at Little Rock Funeral Home from 5 to 7 pm. Services will be held April 2, 2013 at 1 pm at the Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Don Cooper. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander.
