Margaret Louise "Peggy" Cobb

Margaret Louise “Peggy” Cobb, 61, of Sheridan passed unexpectedly on July 12, 2025. She was the youngest of six children born to Wayne and Cecilia (Malacek) Mehlin.

She was a graduate of Cabot High School and Arkansas Tech University. She was employed at the Arkansas Heart Hospital and attended Grace Church in Hensley.

Peggy‘s family includes her husband of 37 years, Dewey Cobb, daughters Kaitlyn, Singley husband Chris Singley, Anna Cobb and fiancé Logan Carey. Her siblings include Pat Norwood, Mary Laakman husband Dick Laakman, Tom Mehlin with wife Brenda Mehlin, and Philip Mehlin. Her grandchildren she loved include Ella, Grant, Waylon, and Jaymee.

Peggy was a light to all she encountered. She made a large impact on every person she met whether that was at work, church, or at home with her family. She lived a life filled with the joy of her family and the selfless love she gave them. Peggy was a devoted, wife, mother, friend, sister, grandmother, and so much more. She never thought twice about being there for anyone and was truly selfless in the way she lived. She loved God and was able to instill that in her family as well as practice her faith each day. She will be truly missed beyond measure by everyone who loved her.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM, followed by memorial service at 10:30 AM, Friday, July 18, 2025 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.
