Margaret Dorothy Thiele Niehaus Fiser, born in Clearwater, Nebraska on February 9, 1923, passed away at 103 years old on August 24, 2026 in Maumelle, Arkansas. She moved to Arkansas in 1942 by herself to work for Missouri Pacific Railroad until it merged with the Union Pacific Railroad, and retired in 1983. 

Margaret married Ted E. Niehaus in 1962, and they were together until he passed in 1978. Eighteen years after his death she married Charles Fiser. They were married for 15 years until his passing in 2011.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Rose Thiele, her brothers Augie, Vince, Chuck, Louie, and Clement, and her sisters Teresa, Lillian, Mae Lou, Geraldine, and Cecelia.

She is survived by her two stepchildren, Ted E Niehaus and Carol Oram (John).

Margaret was always a giver, she volunteered at her church, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, The Helping Hands ministry, Hays Senior Center, and the National Association of Railroad Women, along with many other groups and people. In her death, Margaret has donated her body for research to the University of Arkansas Medical Science (UAMS).

She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, joy, and devotion that will continue to live on through the generations of family and friends whose lives she touched.

A Visitation will be held Monday, August 31st 2026 from 9:30am-10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7006 Jasna Gora Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72118.

A Rosary will be held Monday, August 31st 2026 from 10:30am-11:00am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7006 Jasna Gora Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72118.

Mass will follow on Monday, August 31st 2026 starting at 11:00am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7006 Jasna Gora Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72118.
