Margell Robertson Meade

Margell Robertson Meade, age 89, of Glenwood passed away on Sabbath morning, October 6, 2012, and is sleeping next to Charlie until the resurrection. On May 16, 1942, she was married to Charles "Charlie" Meade, Sr., who passed away on January 8, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Suzanne Meade and her sister, Sarah Hooten. A devoted homemaker and mother, she began working, after her children were in school, for the Seventh Day Adventist Publishing in Washington, D.C. until her retirement. She was an active member of the Bonnerdale Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by two sons, Charles Meade, Jr. of Waco, Texas and Thom Meade of Redding, California; her daughter, Jane Ulloth of Redding, California; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her sister, Janey Swain of Norman, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 27, 2012, in the Bonnerdale Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Brandon Westgate officiating. Interment will be in the Bonnerdale Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Visitation was held on Monday, October 8, 2012, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
