Margie Irene Pope Duncan, 90, of Little Rock, passed away Monday, October 6, 2012. She was born in Dierks, Arkansas to Clair O. and Bettie Lemons Pope and was a member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church. She was the owner/operator of Johnson's Supermarket.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Allen F. Johnson and William J. Duncan, son, Tracy Johnson, and sister, Janice Pope, she is survived by her sons, Darrell Johnson (Barbara) of Sparkman, Roger Johnson and Herschel Johnson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, October 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Crystal Hill Baptist Church, 18823 Crystal Valley Rd., Little Rock. Services will be Saturday, October 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the church, officiated by Rev. Larry Ballard. Interment will follow at Crystal Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, No. Little Rock, AR 72116.
