Margie Frances Shiver, 90, of North Little Rock, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014. She was born in Morgan, Georgia to James W. and Eula Mae Clower Avera, and was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Morgan, GA.
Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Col. Morris Eugene Shiver, (USAF Ret.); sons, Randal Eugene Shiver and Donald (Duke) Lee Shiver. She is survived by her son, Dr. Henry Robison and wife, Catherine of Sherwood; daughters-in-law, Mrs. Betty Shiver of Huntsville, Alabama, Mrs. Rebecca Shiver of Macon, Georgia; sister-in-law, Mrs. Jimmie Clark of Albany, Georgia, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A family celebration service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 27, 2014 at Sherwood Funeral Home, 7515 Warden Rd., Sherwood, AR 72120. She will be interred with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
