Maria Johnson

Maria Pilar Johnson, 91, of Sherwood passed away on Sat Jan 9, 2021. She was born Maria del Pilar Rojo Y Velasco on April 6, 1929 in Castro-Urdiales Spain.

Maria met the love of her life Kenneth while he was stationed in Spain and they were married in Madrid on March 31, 1957.  A few years later they moved to the US and she became a United States Citizen. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Kenneth Hill Johnson in May of 2020.

She is survived by their Daughter Maria Christina Lanier; grandchildren Amber Tiffany Lanier-Blase (Harrison), Ashley Colleen Lanier and Mason Conner Sisson; great-grandchildren Haley Nicole Davis, Cristian Alexander Trujillo, Branson Hill Blase, Jaxson John Blase, Pepper Pilar Barrios and Holland Rose Blase.

Committal service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock .
